According to the requirements of different environments and equipment, the cable insulation can be made of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, cross-linked polyethylene, fluoroplastics, silicone rubber and other materials.
Polyethylene has high insulation resistance, good withstand voltage, low dielectric coefficient and low dielectric loss temperature and variable frequency. It can not only meet the requirements of transmission performance, but also ensure the service life of the cable.
In order to reduce the mutual crosstalk and external interference between the loops, the cable needs to be shielded. Shielding materials include tinned or non-tinned copper wire, copper tape, copper-plastic composite tape, aluminum-plastic composite tape, etc. The metal tape is produced by wrapping, and the overlap rate should usually not be less than 15%, but there are special standards For example, TICW/06 stipulates that the shielding metal tape overlap rate should not be less than 25%; the metal wire is produced by weaving, and the braiding coverage rate should not be less than 80%. If there are higher requirements for anti-interference, the coverage rate can be not less than 90%.
