The company is fully responsible for the development and construction of the Hongqiao Comprehensive Transportation Hub (except the airport interior). The airport group is responsible for the internal planning and implementation of Hongqiao Airport. The construction of the Hongqiao Integrated Transportation Hub is organized in accordance with the overall project construction goal of "the main project at the end of 2006 will be fully started, the project will be completed at the end of 2009, and will be put into use before the 2010 World Expo", and the implementation of the project will be rationally organized. The Hongqiao Comprehensive Transportation Hub will be built into a world-class modern large-scale comprehensive transportation hub that closely connects high-speed railways, intercity and urban rail transportation, buses, taxis and airports.
