Shanghai F1 Circuit

　　The Shanghai Audi International Circuit is located in Jiading District, Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China. It was built by Chen Liangyu, the mayor of Shanghai at the time, with an investment of about 2 billion yuan. Construction started in October 2002 and completed in June 2004. The total area is 5.3 square kilometers. It can accommodate 200,000 people. On September 26, 2004, the first F1 China Grand Prix was held.
