1. What is the difference between soft wires and hard wires in electrical wires?
The difference between soft wires and hard wires is that hard wires are single-strand thick wires, while soft wires are composed of multiple strands.
2. Comparison in terms of price
If analyzed from the price, multi-strand soft wires are obviously more laborious and costly, while single-strand hard wires are relatively cheaper.
3. Construction analysis
Single hard wires are prone to errors at joints and crimping points; however, hard wires have high tensile strength.
Multi-strand soft wires are easy to wire through conduits, and this also has a good effect on heat dissipation.
4. In terms of use,
Multi-strand soft wires have a large current carrying capacity (but hard wires have a stronger carrying capacity when subjected to sudden load), but the general household current is basically less than 100A, single-strand wires can be used.
Single-strand hard wires have a longer oxidation resistance and service life than multi-strand soft wires. Especially for long-term use, the advantages of single-strand wires are obvious. Some soft copper wires are too thin and easily oxidize.

2. Soft wires have a thin diameter, unreliable insulation material, and are prone to aging and damage. Even if used, they are only suitable for a small amount of use in places such as pendant lamp connections and are not suitable for use in fixed long-distance lines.
3. From the price point of view, because the manufacturing of multi-strand wires is labor-intensive, the cost will be higher, and the price does not have an advantage, while single-strand wires are relatively cheaper.
