Briefly describe the function of the braiding layer in power cables
Power cables are wire products used to transmit electrical (magnetic) energy, information, and electromagnetic energy conversion. In a broad sense, wires and cables are also called cables. In a narrow sense, cables are insulated cables, which can be defined as a collection of components: one or more insulated cores, and each core may have a sheath, an overall protective layer, and an outer protective layer. Cables may or may not have additional uninsulated conductors.
