1. Lightning strike

If the control cable line insulation is improper, after the junction box is immersed in water or under humid conditions, due to stress corrosion and static fatigue, the working strength of the optical cable will be greatly reduced, and in severe cases, the optical cable will break.
3. Influence of external forces
In many cases, line failures are caused by external forces. Since many communication optical cable lines are laid outdoors, the general burial standard is in the deep strata, which cannot effectively avoid many external factors from damaging the optical cable lines.

Check whether the certificates and trademarks on the appearance packaging of the power cable are standardized. This requires checking whether there is 3C certification and quality system certification; checking whether the trademark is printed with the factory name, factory address, inspection seal, and production date; checking whether the wire and cable are printed with trademarks, specifications, and voltage, etc.
It is necessary to check the color and appearance of the power cord. According to reports, the slightly reddish yellow of the copper core indicates that the quality of the copper used is good, while the whitish yellow core is a reaction of low-quality copper. For aluminum core wires, ordinary ones must emit light, silver-white ones will shine under the light, while dark ones look dark and have poor quality. Check whether the surface of the power cable is smooth, and the copper core cross-section of the wire and cable. The copper color is bright and soft, otherwise the quality of the wire and cable is unqualified.
Check the length and core thickness. According to relevant standards, the wire length error does not exceed 5%, and the cross-sectional diameter does not exceed 0.02%. However, there is a large amount of cross-sectional fraud in the market.
Check the feel. It is advisable to repeatedly bend the wire head by hand. The handle is soft, has good fatigue strength, the plastic or rubber handle has large elasticity, and the wire insulator has no cracks, indicating good quality of the wire and cable.
Check whether the core wire is in the center of the insulation layer. Off-center is an eccentric core phenomenon caused by low technology. When used, if the power is low, it can be used safely. Once the power consumption is very high, the thinner side is likely to be broken down by the current.
