It has the properties of high temperature resistance, radiation resistance, and mechanical wear resistance. However, it has many joints, high installation costs, and the insulation is easy to absorb moisture, making it difficult to produce multi-core cables and meter-long cables with specifications of 50mm or more. One type uses argon arc welding longitudinally wrapped mica tape, polymer insulation, polymer sheath or copper tape sheath, which is comparable to rigid mineral insulated cables in fire and combustion performance, and has advantages in production, installation and laying.

  3. Flame-retardant wire and cable

 It has the function of flame retardancy and flame spread retardation. It is a flame-retardant wire and cable that is not easy to catch fire. Compared with ordinary wires and cables, it has the same internal structure. The difference is that flame-retardant wires and cables use flame-retardant materials for the insulation layer and sheath, while flame-retardant materials are used as fillers, belts, and other auxiliary materials. Therefore, when a fire occurs, flame-retardant wires and cables can effectively ensure that the fire will not spread along the wires and cables, and can automatically extinguish internal and residual flames within an effective range and time, effectively controlling the fire range, reducing property losses, and buying more time for fire fighting.

  4. Other fire-resistant wires Wires and cables

  Due to different requirements for the use of wires and cables, in addition to the common fire-resistant wires and cables mentioned above, there are several types of wires and cables used in relatively special environments, including low halogen, halogen-free, low smoke, low toxicity, halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant, and halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant fire-resistant.

  According to relevant regulations, when selecting the power supply main line for fire-fighting facilities in high-rise buildings, different selections should be made based on the different heights of the high-rise building. When the building height reaches 10m or the number of floors reaches 53 or more, mineral insulated cables should be used.
