① Check the Appearance of the Wire

We can peel open the wire for a while until the copper inside is exposed. On the other hand, if we find that the copper wire is yellow, it's yellow copper, containing other impurities, so the quality is not good; also, when bending the copper wire, if it feels hard, it means the quality of the wire is not good.
③ Measure the Wire Gauge
Although the current wire gauge is not the sole standard for testing whether a wire is qualified, it is also a reference. We can use a vernier caliper or micrometer to measure the wire gauge. Taking the commonly used 2.5 square meter copper wire in our homes as an example, the current wire gauge of this 2.5 square meter copper wire is basically above 1.72. That is to say, if you measure a 2.5 square meter wire with a gauge less than 1.72 mm, it is basically unqualified.
The method of measuring the wire gauge is actually very simple. We take a wire, peel off the outer insulation layer, and then we can use a vernier caliper or micrometer to measure it. Now there is also a digital vernier caliper, which is so simple that we can see it ourselves. We can measure it ourselves. This method is also very practical.
④ Test the Resistance Performance
